A veterinary curiosity dating from the early 20th century and supplied in the original box.  This animal vaccine injector is an early example of a syringe used for vaccinating animals.  

Manufactured by Parke, Davis & Co which was once America's oldest and largest drug maker (it is now part of Pfizer).  The syringe is in two parts - a metal barrel and plunger and the seperate screw on needle complete with rubber seal. In full working order.  The barrel is engraved with "Made in England" and the patent number.
