A framed vintage hunting print by Henry Aiken (1785-1851), the noted artist, engraver and illustrator who often depicted equestrian scenes and whose work is represented in the British Museum. Aiken was well known and popular for his work in sporting circles, "in particular the notorious clique of wealthy and reckless huntsmen who gathered at Melton Mowbray, Leicester".
Prints are subtitled the meet & full cry.
The wooden frame is also antique and in good condition. There is a small area of damage to the print mount in the top centre area (see photos for a close up) as well as some age related fading / marks on the mount.
